The mission of the Frankie Manning Foundation is to carry on the work and the spirit of Frankie Manning in spreading the joy of Lindy Hop, danced to big band swing music, throughout the world.
Projects include the annual Frankie Manning Ambassador Scholarships
to the Herrang Dance Camp, (This program is part of Frankie’s dream,
offering scholarships to exceptional candidates from the African-American community as well as dancers from new Lindy Hop scenes around the world), youth scholarships to Beantown Dance Camp and ILHC, facilitation of the Frankie100 celebration in 2014, and more.
Every bit that you send counts and it is a great opportunity for teachers,
dancers and organizers to give back to the dance that has given so much to them. Many dancers recognize that Lindy Hop has changed their lives. This is how you can show your love in a very definite way!
